Day 4 is usually one of the hardest days when you are trying to reset hormone receptors as with insulin and leptin. The receptor cells which "hear" insulin and leptin have been bombarded for so long they no longer work properly due to sugar and grain intake. The process of cutting out sugars and grains from your diet relieves these receptors and allows them to start healing. Sometimes this process happens quickly for people and sometimes it takes longer, even months. The key is to stay with it until you reach your goals. This is very healthy for you, just make sure you are getting lots of veggies, good fats, and protein.
It seems many people experience headaches, or fatigue, or a ''fog" around day 4. If not great, but if you are hang in there. This usually lasts a short period of time and is a small hurdle in you reaching your goals.
"Wherever we look upon this earth, the opportunities take shape within the problems" - Nelson Rockefeller
Wherever you are, whatever you are going through, see the opportunity to grow. You may see the opportunity to serve, or to give, or to lead others. Most importantly, do not see the problems as failures, but as opportunities to grow beyond where you were before.
Today may be a struggle, but you do not give in to temptation. You stand on the fact, that what you are going through not only makes you stronger, it makes you more healthy.
Tip:
Using the Perfect Protein is a great way to replace a meal and get the exact right amount of protein. Mix it with coconut milk and some spinach and you have a perfect breakfast to help your body fight hormone resistance and increase your fat burning.
